Light source include an 850 nm and 1300nm source. The Fiber Optic light source utilizes high quality emitter, ensuring a high degree of core fill in
standard multimode optical communication fiber allowing for consistent and meaningful network attenuation measurements. Typical coupled output power is -7dBm. Typical applications include data communication network installations and maintenance testing of multimode fiber
optics cable, passive optical component testing, patch chord verification, or other applications requiring the use of a Fiber Optic light source.
